Simulated Parts can be cast in a wide variety of materials.

We commonly use PU and epoxy resins to simulate most of the materials used in manufacturing. The parts can be coloured and given surface textures to your exact requirements, or polished to give a glass like finish which can be colour matched to Pantone, RAL and BS charts. We can colour match to samples provided by the customer in order to achieve matches to the your existing product lines, components or company colours.

The Resin systems we use can be rigid or flexible, simulating a multitude of finishes and applications. Water clear resins can be used to create lenses with high clarity and even lens like properties. We can tint clear resins to the colour and level of tint you require from fully transparent to totally opaque with every stage in-between. High temperature resins can be used in situations where this is a necessity or alternatively we can also utilise flame retardant resins if this property is required in your product.

UV stable resins are available for items intended for long term exposure to the sun or other high UV environments along with aquatic and marine environments catered for.

Additionally we can cast multiple resin layers to create over- moulded rubbers on ridged sub-straights, or to create crisp distinct multi-coloured lenses such as those found in automotive tail lights
