LOW VOLUME PRODUCTION
ITS NOT THE NUMBERS ITS THE QUALITY
MAKING THE TOOL
Our silicone tooling team are able to replicate master patterns perfectly in polyurethane. To ensure all master patterns are accurately produced at a 1:1 scale, the operating temperatures of the tools are carefully controlled to negate any shrinkage of the polyurethane casting, and maintain dimensional accuracy. The majority of silicone tools are able to create 20-30 parts depending on complexity of the master. The tooling team take care and consideration in the placement of split lines within the silicone tool, and accommodate complex geometries through the use of tooling cores and inserts. Through only using high quality silicone, we are able to achieve excellent surface finishes, with high quality definition of any textures and polished finishes.

Vacuum Casting allows you to make parts with the same performance and appearance of injection moulding, without the high costs of metal tooling. Due to this, vacuum casting is far more cost effective in small quantities and low-level manufacturing.
There are a large range of materials that can be used within the vacuum casting process. You can replicate virtually any production material. Ranging from polycarbonate, ABS, nylon, and silicone rubbers to name a few. In addition to the range of materials on offer our vacuum casting team are able to apply a vast range of colours, which can be specified either by Pantone, Ral and BS references.
Vacuum casting is an ideal solution if you need to produce a high-quality, low volume product when injection moulding is not a viable solution.
Alternatively, a batch of prototypes might be needed to show proof of concept prior to implementing injection moulding, without the risk of expensive metal tooling. Vacuum casting is an ideal route to take your product from concept to manufacturing.
